September 2020 Line-Up

I realize I'm about a week late posting this, but things have been crazy for me the last few weeks. Towards the end of August I decided to make a change to my proposed rotation schedule, mostly just moving challenges around to make room for playing my Decades saves on a one-month-on / one-month-off rotation. So, officially, Decades is on break until November. Which is sad, but there's other fun stuff coming "off the shelf" to replace it!

On the schedule (the full schedule as it is now can be seen on my home page, link at the top left of the screen) for September:

For Sure Working on:

  • My Baby Boom Challenge - I am (once again) restarting this one, so it's going to be known from now on as the Braxton Baby Boom challenge. I decided that I really want to count points, and I wasn't very far into the Bell family, so a restart was in order. Will be posting an introduction to the new founders and their first chapter of play later today.
  • Sulani History Challenge - Yep, time to play these guys again. Perhaps I'll even be able to get past the first generation!
  • That's Life - (Board Game Challenge) Goal will be to get past Amethyst's generation and into the next one before end of month.
  • The Diversity Experiment - (Rebuild Challenge) I will be getting some more done with these guys, hopefully we'll see the new generation this month.
  • Plumbobbing Through Time - (Exploring History Challenge) I want to get these guys into the next generation, as well as get the building for the next gen houses done.

Maybe working on:

  • Townie Rotation??? - I honestly have no idea what I'll be doing with these guys. I may end up pulling them back into a hiatus, or actually spending some time on them. I've put so much work into this save, I don't just want to quit playing it, but at the same time, I really have not been feeling like playing this save for quite a while. Mentioning it because they're on the schedule.
  • Upgrowth Challenge - There's a possibility I may start this on this rotation (again, I haven't decided 100% yet). If I don't start it this September, it'll probably start the next time this rotation pops up in January.

Ultimately:

  • Goal is 20+ Posts for the month, or around 20,000 words. I did hit upwards of 20k last month, despite taking the last couple weeks "off", so it shouldn't be very hard to hit.

I am a 45 year old American wife, mother, and gamer. I’ve lived in the Midwest most of my life, and enjoy it for the changing seasons. My favorite movie is Labyrinth, my favorite game is Sims 4, and I have tattoos related to both. My favorite colors are purple, red, and green. When I’m not playing games (which is rare) I also enjoy reading and crafting. I’m also an animal lover, and have had many types of pets over the years. Currently, I have a dog named Cassie who is a Jack Russel / Beagle mix and three young fancy rats (all of whom are rescues). I run this Sims 4 Blog where I post screenshots and stories about the different challenges I play. Also here are the Sims 4 challenges I've written, and a place for me to store all the Sims 4 knowledge I've gotten over the years. I am also a Sims 4/variety streamer on Twitch for my mental health, fun, and to meet new people. I have also recently been accepted to the EA Creator Network, which is a dream come true! I look forward to meeting you!
