First thing I want to say: July was a stellar month for me. I ended up being the only Simnano Participant to get the "Plus" medal for topping 50,000 words for the month.
With that being said - I really had a blast doing it. I had a goals spreadsheet that I used to track my progress throughout July... and I've already created a second sheet in that spreadsheet to track for August. I'm not completely insane, I'm not going for 50k words again... but I am hoping to get over 30k - so I'm at least partially insane. *wink*
With the way my new rotation plans are (see my "home" page - which is linked in the above menu - for full info on this) the stories I was working on through July are now put "on the shelf" until November, and I'm pulling out some new ones. Here's what's to come on my blog for the month of August:
The Broomstick Files (Magical Legacy Challenge): Caizey is back, and in full form with her crazy antics. I hope to finish the first generation, and get into the heir's generation.
Bundles From Sixam (100 Alien Babies Challenge): Malakai and kids still have a long way to go to get to 100 babies, so I'll be working on getting him a few kids closer.
Who's Crazy Now? (Backwards ISBI): Jesse and the kids are still finishing up their first generation, although the heir poll has been decided and Coty will be taking over. I hope to finish that first generation, and maybe even generation 2 with Coty, as well.
Decades Challenge War: This is a brand new project for me, just started at the end of July. Basically, I started two Decades Challenges with different start conditions and ways of aging my sims, as well as different blogging styles. My plan for both of them for this month is to at the very least get them both through the first decade of the challenge.
A Tangled Yarn: A story-blogged Decades challenge where time passes for the sims as they age up. Stefan and Juliet Tangle (and their coming family) make their way through the world of the 1890s, one year at a time. Each year = one week/season for the sims, and the sims are set to longer, very specific age spans. (more info on this in the above link.)
Sheppard's Decades: A commentary-blogged Decades challenge where time passes based on the generation they are on. So - one generation per decade. Not very realistic, but it's another way to do the challenge. James and Anna Sheppard and their two dogs brave the world of large families, and - let me tell you - it's a madhouse.
So... that's what's on the plan. I may also do some work on my Exploring History Challenge, but we'll see if time permits on that one.

About Me:
I am a 45 year old American wife, mother, and gamer. I’ve lived in the Midwest most of my life, and enjoy it for the changing seasons. My favorite movie is Labyrinth, my favorite game is Sims 4, and I have tattoos related to both. My favorite colors are purple, red, and green. When I’m not playing games (which is rare) I also enjoy reading and crafting. I’m also an animal lover, and have had many types of pets over the years. Currently, I have a dog named Cassie who is a Jack Russel / Beagle mix and three young fancy rats (all of whom are rescues). I run this Sims 4 Blog where I post screenshots and stories about the different challenges I play. Also here are the Sims 4 challenges I've written, and a place for me to store all the Sims 4 knowledge I've gotten over the years. I am also a Sims 4/variety streamer on Twitch for my mental health, fun, and to meet new people. I have also recently been accepted to the EA Creator Network, which is a dream come true! I look forward to meeting you!
