Two things.... One, I now have the Seasons expansion. Two.. we need to check on our goals:
House 006 Building Goals: 350,000 value home (8 beds, one of them a double @ minimum) - About 200k value now.. long way to go. House 006 Generational Goals: One sim to Level Mansion Baron Aspiration Young adult heir (not born yet) Other Info: After Mansion Baron aspiration is achieved, build a night club on the blue velvet lot in willow creek.
We start out with Aya's Birthday to Adult. No idea why I chose a Hamburger Cake for her. LOL.
... Still waiting on the heir to be born. Obviously. But since it's Love Day, we're giving roses to romantic partners in this house.
And going on a semi-awkward date. (Awkward because Marcus is still Unflirty... and his social interactions always sound a bit like you're having rip off a bandaid. - i.e. painful.) The date got a silver.. I didn't really want to push it any further, because the goal I had leftover was the one to get both sims flirty.. and Marcus is next to impossible to get flirty.
Date # 2 .. Aya and Ali.. I send them out to the local Seafood joint.
They, however, easily get a legendary date.. and everyone's happy with how their "Love Day" ended. Even Arjun.. who doesn't have a love. (But being a loner, he apparently isn't interested in the holiday anyway.)
Marcus' Adult birthday. Jeez Carina, haven't you had that baby yet?!
The master bedroom finally gets a much needed update. It's got color now!
Carina is working on her Public Enemy aspiration. Notice anything? .. Yup.. the heir has been born! I, however, don't bother getting a picture of him until he's a toddler. (They're just so uninteresting before then, you know?)
I found a new toy!!! Somehow, I never noticed that there's a little robotic vacuum cleaner that came with pets. I was busily looking for the washers and dryers and ran across this little guy. So I spend the next day and a half in game obsessively/gleefully watching the little guy, trying to find out if it actually works. It does. It picks up trash piles and then you have to "empty" it .. you can set it to auto clean every 24 or 12 hours. How very cool.
And here's what I spent the other day and a half til baby grew up watching.. the new butler. He's impossibly slow.. but he's free with free services.. and building him a little house adds to the house value.. and YES! he actually does do the laundry!
A bit late, but finally.. Welcome Emmett.. who grows up rolling the "wild" trait. Really? .. Thanks. I'll be chasing him all over this huge house.
Having the same birthday as Emmett.. Arjun, unfortunately ages to elder. I'm not looking forward to losing his income from writing when he passes on. About this time, I also cringe with the realization that the house's bills are up to nearly 13k.. and I buy the "Frugal" trait for Marcus. Yikes.
Still working on video gaming skill for his job... go Marcus!

Shortly after this new pregnancy (in game time - weeks later in real time) .. I decide the reason I'm having such trouble working on this family is because I hate their house. So, rashly, I bulldozed the whole thing (the only part I regret is not saving the garden) and grabbed one of my new shells I've built for these guys. I chose the huge "House of Many Roofs" shell, and set to decorating. It's not fully done, but it gets a little closer all the time. This picture reminds me I need to spend some time landscaping. (This is the back of the house)

See the light patterns? The top of this "rotunda" is glass-roofed to let in some light. I love it.
It's "Night on the Town" holiday, so I give everyone a break from the toddler and send them off to the town restaurant. It seems everyone has a good time, including the very pregnant Carina (who goes into labor the moment she poofs home)

The most inappropriate-looking vampire ever breaks in. He looks like my son's hipster art teacher. Seriously.
The shoes make the outfit. He goes and drains my elder, Arjun.. just what I needed.. and then sneaks his way back outside.
